I have always been kinda internet freak. I keep exploring new sites. Recently i came across this cool site. It was same like orkut, myspace or hi5 social networking site. Its name was yuwie.
First I thought that it was just another networking site with nothing new in it. But just for the sake of passing time I joined in.
Now after exploring yuwie for a couple of months I have understood it is the coolest place on internet. I have several reasons for it, but for the most part there are two important reasons.
1. I get paid for doing the same things that I do on other sites. To count things I can say like scrapping or commenting, chatting messaging, blogging reading blogs and even for making new friends. So it was a cool way to keep in touch with friends and earning some money in the process.
2. It is the most important reason why I like yuwie. Here people really help. Money might be the driving force but it showcases the ideal world we should try building. PEOPLE HELPING EACH OTHER AND GROWING TOGETHER. People are really willing to help each other in any way possible.
Now I am a regular on yuwie and spend some time daily on it(and I am earning). It is really the new generation social networking site and it has got a real bright future.
If any one is interested in joining yuwie Click Here
The thing about yuwie is that you will always be some one's referral. If you join without one. You will be assignd to some one by yuwie.
If some one wants to join in please go through the link below.

One Day in Class...
This incident took place in the class when I was teaching my students a topic from DBMS which is called Entity Relationship Diagrams.
Entity Relationship Diagrams are also abbreviated as ERD. I taught them every thing from top to bottom in that topic and as this topic was mostly about making diagrams i wanted to test them on how much they understood.
When I took the topic, each and every time I had mentioned Entity Relationship Diagram instead of ERD. So when I gave them the question to draw an ERD, to my surprise all of them went blank as if I had said some thing they never knew. Then one student got up and asked "Sir whats an ERD??".
I got a bit pissed off in the beginning but then I realized that it was my mistake. I know how much a student trusts on a teacher and expect the teacher to teach them every small possible point.
But there is a sad part to it too. students these days are loosing innovation and the ability to apply logic. In general people don't want to apply their knowledge or think out of the box.
But as of Now... I also don't know the answer on how to develop these qualities in an student but one day i will definitely find a way to do this.
