About Yuwie

I have always been kinda internet freak. I keep exploring new sites. Recently i came across this cool site. It was same like orkut, myspace or hi5 social networking site. Its name was yuwie.
First I thought that it was just another networking site with nothing new in it. But just for the sake of passing time I joined in.

Now after exploring yuwie for a couple of months I have understood it is the coolest place on internet. I have several reasons for it, but for the most part there are two important reasons.

1. I get paid for doing the same things that I do on other sites. To count things I can say like scrapping or commenting, chatting messaging, blogging reading blogs and even for making new friends. So it was a cool way to keep in touch with friends and earning some money in the process.

2. It is the most important reason why I like yuwie. Here people really help. Money might be the driving force but it showcases the ideal world we should try building. PEOPLE HELPING EACH OTHER AND GROWING TOGETHER. People are really willing to help each other in any way possible.

Now I am a regular on yuwie and spend some time daily on it(and I am earning). It is really the new generation social networking site and it has got a real bright future.

If any one is interested in joining yuwie Click Here

The thing about yuwie is that you will always be some one's referral. If you join without one. You will be assignd to some one by yuwie.

If some one wants to join in please go through the link below.

One Day in Class...

This incident took place in the class when I was teaching my students a topic from DBMS which is called Entity Relationship Diagrams.

Entity Relationship Diagrams are also abbreviated as ERD. I taught them every thing from top to bottom in that topic and as this topic was mostly about making diagrams i wanted to test them on how much they understood.

When I took the topic, each and every time I had mentioned Entity Relationship Diagram instead of ERD. So when I gave them the question to draw an ERD, to my surprise all of them went blank as if I had said some thing they never knew. Then one student got up and asked "Sir whats an ERD??".

I got a bit pissed off in the beginning but then I realized that it was my mistake. I know how much a student trusts on a teacher and expect the teacher to teach them every small possible point.

But there is a sad part to it too. students these days are loosing innovation and the ability to apply logic. In general people don't want to apply their knowledge or think out of the box.

But as of Now... I also don't know the answer on how to develop these qualities in an student but one day i will definitely find a way to do this.

Serial Blasts in Bangaluru and Ahmedabad... Why??

There has been a chain of bomb blasts in two cities in my country and I don't get the point why it has been done.

I mean killing and harming innocent people just to prove your point that you exist. I don't get it. If some people are so concerned about their folks then answer me some questions... Still there are children who don't get 3 meals a day.. still there are old people who have no place to go... still there are students who can not continue their studies because they don't have money to pay the fees...

Tell me what is important?? people living a prosperous life or terror.

If the think something they do is right then why not do it open. There is a civilized way say or follow what you believe. Not by terrorism by any means.

India has always been a peace loving country and I don't think people will even talk about the blast after a couple of days. Some people have always been jealous of the development that has happened in India and simply want to stop the growth of India by resorting to these cheap ways just because they are not able to match developing India's might in any field. If they think that by playing this dirty game of terrorism they will be able hamper India's growth, they are mistaken. We Indians will bounce back again and build another stronger and bigger foundations that cannot be dislodged by any thing.

I seriously pity on those ignorant fools who have who have not been able to understand in the span of more than 30 years that their efforts are worthless. They don't understand that if they had spent the money that they use against India into developing their country and helping their people, they would have reached some where near India.

Breaking other's houses because you cannot build a house like them is the policy of some one who doesn't have any religion, does not have any belief and does not have the guts to face the reality.

Any ways I just pray to God that he gives them little bit of brain to think and act sensibly because I don't think any religion or logic can justify killing innocent people.

I think this all these blast have become more of a publicity stunt than any thing else. Criminals of the mankind think killing innocent people is bravery. They are not brave enough to come out in open and say it.

No where to RUN

Hey Everyone....

Its funny... when i was a student, I actually did every thing to disappoint a teacher.
i was never what a teacher says "a good student". I don't say that I am not a good listener or learner, but i was never into the books. never even bought one.

Never listened to any thing that any teacher had to say, wether it was about my courses or any general thing.

So why am i writing it down here??
Its simple. The wheel of time has turned and I don't know how it turned out but i am a teacher now. And guess what... I get to teach the subjects I never liked during my studies.

Teaching Java was ok. but the worst was about to come. The subject I hated most, DBMS or data base management systems, was given to me, in a situation in which i can't even say no.

so here I am, teaching a subject which I never liked to a bunch of people who blindly trust in me. I try giving in my best but i can; stop hating the subject.lol... I study it more than when i was studying to pass its test.

Still I am trying because I have got No place to RUN this time.

but still I HATE DBMS...

Being a Teacher..

A week ago i signed up with a Government aided institution as a part time teacher to teach Java and other programming languages. First the job felt easy but then within a week i realized what it means to be a teacher. There are so many things that I should take care of apart from teaching. Each and every student is different, their way of understanding is different and the most important thing their levels are different.

I am 23 now and just now I graduated to become an engineer, so I have been in touch with books till very recently but I never studied this seriously in my student days. I don't know what it is, whether it is the fear of being shamed in front of the students for not knowing something or whether it is my zeal towards teaching that is making me do this. But in any case, by the end of the day I am like a piece of wood. And yet the work is not over, I have to prepare for the next day's class.

But in one week I have learned two things, firstly, Its really hard to become a good teacher. Secondly, patience is the key. You have to listen to all the doubts again and again and explain till their doubts are cleared without showing any resentment on your face, one of the toughest thing to do,especially when you consider something easy.

My greatest benefit from this job has been that my patience limits have been renewed and enlarged. Apart form it I have been studying things that I left during my college days thinking that they were not important(Believe me... earlier my attitude was that nothing is important and within a week it has become like nothing is unimportant, don't leave any thing... lol).

I know I will leave this job soon and I will opt for a better paying job as a software engineer in next couple of months, but this experience will always be in my mind.

Easy Money-->Hard Money-->No Money

I have seen money follow this pattern on the internet. Some times it even has a loose money tag too.

When I learned about the possibilities of making money on the Internet I tried all the combinations that were available on the net. Then I realized that I can spend days and months and years clicking on the pages sent to me on my mail or keep giving my opinion about every stupid thing that comes up or fill in as many forms as possible. I wont get any money.

These sites have so many different ways of cheating people.

Mostly payout amount will be so high that it would take years to reach that limit. I have even seen payout as high as 1,000,000 euros. You can imagine how long it will take to reach to that threshold even if each email or click is worth 100 euros and u get 8 to 10 mails a day.

I also came across a site that had a less payout but it paid $ 0.01 for one click which lasted for around a minute in an average speed net connection. So you can imagine how long it will take to get to payout even if the payout is $ 100.

These sites actually subscribe to some add agency like adsense and make its members visit the links or at least see it.

So I can say very confidently that its no use registering and clicking on adds on these kind of sites. You will never get any money.

Next thing i tried was yuwie. Its a fantastic site for making friends and hanging out, I can get paid in the process but it is not the place to look for fast huge money.

The best way to make money from the net, in my view is through adds, the same way yuwie or any other site generates revenues. Its simple and easy and gives a handful of money and actually pays. All that is required is to make a site or blog and put adds on it. There are so many tutorials about that on the net.

The Future Internet... Adifferent Angle

Hey All....

I was sitting simply having nothing to do(and they say empty mind is the devil's workshop), and suddenly this thought crossed my mind.

How will internet be may be 50 years from now??

Seeing what is happening today and they pace at which it is happenening it would be obvious that every transaction, buying, selling, launching of products will take place on internet(at a much bigger rate than now).

Lots of new hacking cracking etc will come into being and lots of new prevention methods will be established.

These things looked as it will happen and it won't surprise any one.

Now lets see, what developments may happen in social networking sites like yuwie or myspace....
All people today have friends on these sites. Then people will have families.
Imagine yuwie or myspace offering special bonus if some one marries some one on their site.
Once you are married you will be able to send children request to people to become your children and part of your family.

Some sites will offer online honey moon to this online couple. Imagine sitting on your computer and seeing some beautiful pictures of beaches and landscapes as a free honey moon gift from friend.

If we move further away in time, we can even see our avatars getting married real time and all the avatars customizable enough to do all real life things on the internet.

Think if we live to see this day.. how will we respond???

Once when I said... "I LOVE YOU"

Hi all...

It was a funny incident. I was in junior school in 8th grade, i was 14 that time.
I had a crush on one of the hottest girl of my class and had been wanting to propose her for a long time then(lol... didn't have the guts that time... not that i have it now... lol).

But you see, when you are young the possibilities are vast and u can get inspired by any stupid thing you come across. I too got inspired.. from a movie, in which the actor proposed the actress in front of the whole class in college.

So, full of excitement, I go to the school next day and wait for the recess bell.
Luckily or Unluckily the girl was the prefect of the class and during the recess it was her job to clean the board.

And to make matters worse, it was her birthday on that particular day.

So when she was cleaning the board, In front of the whole class I went and said.... "Excuse Me.... I love you... would you mind going out with me...". That to loud enough for every one to hear what i was saying standing on the dice of the class(and my class mates had this habit of not going out of class in the breaks and prepare tricks to screw the next teacher who was supposed to come in.... no offense to any teacher.. If any one reading this is a teacher).

So, In that full class room, she first stared at me trying to figure out what i had just said, then, she turned back and walked off.

Believe me, the shock from that kind of indifferent attitude in front of the class was worser than getting slapped and rejected.

Some how, I made it back to my seat.. that day...(the longest walk I have ever had.. lol)

I did go out with her after some time, but she always had this grudge that why did I propose her in front of the class and it didn't last long...
Now its a really funny memory of my dare devil days and when I think about it, I feel she never liked me...
LOL...

But I did learn my lesson, I never proposed a girl in public after that, and I don't think I will ever do it in future(off course there are exceptions!!!)...
